Thousands of WORKERS wait for 1 March and for Germany to OPEN THE DOOR

Thousands of workers from the Western Balkans are looking forward to 1 March, when new regulations for skilled labour force will come into force in Germany. The new law expands opportunities for qualified professionals from outside the European Union to enter Europe’s leading economy to find employment. There are counselling centres throughout Germany providing free advice in the field of labour and social law to the employees in Germany who come from Central and Eastern Europe. It is also a novelty that applicants with qualified vocational education (vocational qualifications include vocational education for which a minimum period of two years is determined in Germany), and not only highly educated, as before, can come to Germany for six months for the purpose of finding a job, if they have adequate knowledge of the German language and if they have secured financial support.
