New government measures: SHUTTING DOWN betting shops, gyms, hairdressers’…

At today’s session of the Government of Serbia, it was decided that due to the specific situation, the self-isolation period for healthcare workers, prison guards and members of the Ministry of the Interior would last for 14 days instead of 28 days. „It is important to emphasize that this decision does not impair the health of the members of these professions, instead preventive extension of home self-isolation will not apply to them. They will perform their work with complete protective equipment and their health status will be monitored on a regular basis,“ the Serbian Government said in a press release. Furthermore, the work of all the facilities and activities that involve close physical contact, such as hairdressing and beauty salons, fitness clubs, gyms, is completely prohibited. The decision was made to close all betting shops, casinos and slot machine clubs and from now on they can only do their business online. It was decided to lower the flags at half-mast on all the public institutions from today onwards.
