A company based in the Emirates is a step closer to the Port of Novi Sad

The Commission for the implementation of the privatization of the Port of Novi Sad (Luka Novi Sad) has adopted a decision proposing to the Ministry of Economy to approve the application of the only bidder in the procedure, the company P&O Ports Dubai based in the United Arab Emirates.

As stated in the press release, the decision was made after the second session of the commission at which the supplemented documentation of the bidder was reviewed.

The Commission concluded that P&O Ports Dubai acted in accordance with the decision of the Ministry of Economy dated 5 March 2019 and proved the fulfilment of all the qualification requirements prescribed by the public call and that the rest of the documentation was in compliance with the Instruction for Bidders and the legal regulations regulating privatization.
