The Serbian government has adopted a Decree on Incentive Measures for Immunization and Suppression of the Coronavirus, in form of an additional RSD 3,000 for all citizens who receive at least the first dose of the vaccine against the virus by May 31st.

According to the announcement, from June 1st to 15th, a web portal for registering citizens for that financial aid will be opened via the official website of the Treasury Administration, and upon expiration of a deadline for registration payments will begin and will last until the end of June.

All pensioners who are inoculated by the end of May will also receive financial aid, but the payment for them will be automated and they do not need to register.

The session also adopted an amendment to the Government’s Conclusion of April 2nd, 2020, which would pay salary compensation in the amount of 100 percent only to employees who are on sick leave due to confirmed coronavirus infection and who have been inoculated, as well as employees who cannot be inoculated for health reasons.

Employees infected with COVID who do not want to be inoculated will receive compensation in the amount of 65 percent of their salary during their sick leave.
