APR: More ENTREPRENEURS deleted in three months than in entire 2019

The Business Registers Agency has announced that during the state of emergency it continues to carry out regular activities and that 402,083 companies are currently registered in the Register, 131,164 of which are companies and 270,919 are entrepreneurs. As the agency says, in the first three months, 2,608 companies and 6,367 entrepreneurs were registered, and in the same period of 2019, 2,226 companies and 8,051 entrepreneurs were registered. According to their data, in three months, 1,247 companies and 6,691 entrepreneurs were deleted from the register, while in the same period of 2019 744 companies and 5,510 entrepreneurs were deleted. In terms of months, 728 companies and 2,151 entrepreneurs were registered in January this year, in February 934 companies and 2,398 entrepreneurs, and in March 946 companies and 1,818 entrepreneurs. In January, 574 companies and 2,216 entrepreneurs were deleted, in February 198 companies and 2,199 entrepreneurs, and in March 475 companies and 2,276 entrepreneurs. „Even during the state of emergency, we regularly carry out all the tasks within our jurisdiction, and in March we received 39,570 applications and requests addressed to almost all the registers we keep,“ said APR’s Director, Milan Lucic. He added that, due to the closure of the help desks, the internal organization was primarily focused on receiving documentation by mail and providing all the administrative services to the economy without a halt.
