Bankers FOR a solution to „Swiss“ loans

The Association of Serbian banks supports the initiative to resolve the issue of loans in Swiss francs and banks are prepared to engage in finding of a solution, in cooperation with competent state institutions.

In an announcement following the extraordinary session of the board of directors, this association has stipulated it is aware of the problems that citizens face and it has been following them from the beginning.

„Contracts that banks concluded with their clients, repayment plans, all important elements of the contract, as well as reports on repayment status of the loan, always accurately and transparently state the amount of client’s obligation in foreign currency, to which the obligation is related. According to statement, this is in line with regulations on application of a currency clause“.
