Belgrade among the hosts of the first Europe-China Business Forum

On 22 April 2019, Belgrade will be one of the hosts of the first Europe-China Business Forum, which will be held this year in five European countries: Germany, Finland, Turkey, Poland and Serbia.

In direct contact with investors and businessmen from the most developed region of China, the Yangtze River Delta, which includes 26 cities and GDP of 2.2 billion dollars, more than 100 Serbian businessmen will take the unique opportunity to get informed about the current consumer trends of the world’s largest market, new sales channels and sources of investments for the purpose of the internationalization of business in China, as well as to discuss cooperation opportunities.

Some of the participants in the Forum are, among others, Chen Hui (Director of CEATEC – China-Europe Association for Technical and Economic Cooperation, within the Ministry of Economy of the People’s Republic of China, and the owner and President of the Hanma Investment Group), Chen Jingyue (Vice President of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers and President of CEATEC Beijing office), Yan Xu (Vice President of the Chamber of International Commerce of the most developed province in China – Jiangsu), Min He (intellectual property advisor in the Government of Shanghai).

The goal of the Forum – increasing the export of Serbian products and services – is strategically important for the global recognition and competitiveness of our economy. Within a four-day visit, a series of meetings and visits by the Chinese delegation to Serbian companies and relevant stakeholders of Serbia’s economic ecosystem will be organized. This forum should become a regular format in which the representatives of the Serbian and Chinese economy will develop communication and discover new opportunities for cooperation through mutual visits. In May this year, some of the forum participants will take part in the big trade fair in Shanghai, 17-19 May.
