BIZLife list „30 under 30“: Alesandro Simic, Sales Manager, PLAY radio

Alessandro graduated from the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, with additional education at the US Mari State University, under a scholarship from the State Department, where he majored in marketing. Upon his return from the USA, he worked in the marketing agency Degordian, after which he transferred to PLAY radio, as a sales manager. During five years at PLAY radio, he communicated with over 300 companies from Serbia and from around the world, and during that period PLAY radio was the most listened to radio station in Serbia.

His great love is photography and he has had several solo exhibitions around the country, and some of them have been published in the National Geographic magazine. In his spare time, he occupies himself with the YouTube channel „Slonoxy Pictures“, and he is also developing a small private side-gig „Iridescentee“ and „Bukvalno majica“. He loves to travel and he invests every penny in plane tickets.

Why have you decided to stay in Serbia?

I cannot say that I have decided to stay, because there is always the possibility that I could go somewhere. However, at the moment, I think it is okay for me to be in Serbia. That does not mean I will stay forever.

What did you want to be when you were a child?

Honestly, I am not sure I wanted anything, I was a little interested in everything, from painting to computer processors.

Favourite subject at school?

Let’s say it was computer science, I enjoyed it most, because I knew more than the teacher. 😊

Business role model?

Steve Jobs – definitely in terms of business, but not in terms of life.
