Cheap APARTMENTS for security officers are already in rental ADS
In Facebook groups for renting apartments and on websites for advertising real estate in Novi Sad, ads for renting apartments in the settlement for security officers at Jugovicevo have appeared.
Members of the police, army and fire-fighting department got these apartments at a preferential price of around 500 euros per square meter, and now some of them rent them for 200 to 350 euros a month, reports the portal 021.rs.
An ad posted in the group „Renting apartments in Novi Sad“ says that one of the advantages is that „a kind neighbour, a fire-fighter“ lives across the hall. For this apartment of 55 square meters, the owner asked for a rent of 350 euros.
The Interior Ministry is „silent“
The Interior Ministry did not answer the questions of the 021.rs portal regarding this topic.
The apartments for the army, police and security officers were allocated according to the „Quick Fingers“ system – they were given to those who applied online first.
The first tenants moved into the apartments for security officers that are being built at Jugovicevo on April 15. By the end of next year, 1,972 apartments in 12 residential buildings at this location will get their tenants, and apartments that are mostly 40 to 80 square meters in size have been sold at a price of 500 euros per square meter.
