CORONAVIRUS: 219 new patients, four new victims
Four more people died from the effects of the coronavirus in Serbia in the last 24 hours, while 219 new COVID-19 patients were registered. A total of 2,666 confirmed cases of COVID-19 were registered in the Republic of Serbia by 3 pm on April 8th, 2020. From the last report until 3 pm, samples of 1,135 people were tested, of which 219 tested positive. A total of 1,705 patients have been hospitalized. A total of 112 patients are on the respirator. By 3 pm a total of 10,761 people who met the criteria for case definition were tested in the Republic of Serbia. Since the previous report, four more people died as a result of the virus, i.e. a total of 65. Four deceased people were men. The average of their age is 62 and they had comorbidities, i.e., several other associated diseases that contributed to the adverse outcome.
