CORONAVIRUS: Five more people die, 408 more infected

In the last 24 hours, five more people died from the coronavirus in Serbia, while 408 new cases of the COVID-19 infection were registered. By 3 pm on 15 April 2020, a total of 4,873 confirmed COVID-19 cases were registered in Serbia. Since the latest report, the samples of 2880 people were tested, 408 of which were positive. 3,245 patients are hospitalized. There are 128 patients in total placed on ventilators. In the last 24 hours, five people died, two men and three women. Their average age is 69. In total, 99 people have died of the coronavirus in Serbia so far, which means that the mortality rate is 2.03 percent. So far, a total of 26,278 persons who met the criteria of the case definition have been tested.
