CORONAVIRUS: Seven died, another 292 infected
In the last 24 hours another seven people died from consequences of the coronavirus in Serbia, while another 282 cases of COVID-19 infection were registered. A total of 2,200 confirmed COVID-19 cases were registered in the Republic of Serbia by 3 pm on April 6th, 2020. From the last report until 3 pm, samples of 1,192 persons were tested, of which 292 tested positive. A total of 1,197 patients have been hospitalized and 101 patients are on the respirator. A total of 8,552 persons who met the criteria for case definition were tested by 3 pm in the Republic of Serbia. Since the previous report, seven patients, or a total of 58, have died from the virus. Three males and four females have died. Their age average is 64.5 and they had comorbidities, i.e. several other associated diseases that contributed to the adverse outcome.
