Doors of 131 countries WIDE OPEN for the Serbian passport
According to the latest Henley & Partners list of the most powerful passports, which is considered to be the most relevant one in the world, Japan and Singapore are sharing the first place, while Serbia is ranked 41st. While citizens of Japan and Singapore can travel to 189 countries of the world without visa, Serbian citizens can travel to 131 countries or receive a visa upon arrival. As for countries in the region, Slovenia is ranked 10th, as its citizens can travel without visa to 179 countries, followed by Croatia at 20th place (167 countries). Behind Serbia are Northern Macedonia at 46th place (123 countries), Montenegro at 47th (122), Bosnia and Herzegovina in 51st place (116 countries) and Albania at 52nd place (113). Top ten countries include South Korea, Finland, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, as well as France, Spain, Sweden, Great Britain, USA, Belgium, Canada, Greece, Ireland and Norway. According to Henley & Partners website, results on the list are based on data of the International Air Transport Association (IATA), which maintains the largest and most accurate travel information database in the world.
