Delta Holding: Innovations, investments and revenue growth in first half of the year

Delta Holding’s revenues in the first six months of this year amounted to RSD30.1 billion and profit is RSD2.6 billion.

As stated at the press conference, “Delta Agrar” realized the biggest share (47 percent), followed by “Delta Distribucija” (32 percent). A total of RSD5.4 billion was paid to the budget of the Republic of Serbia.

“Delta Agrar” achieved record-breaking results in crop production: rapeseed yield of 4.5 tonnes per hectare and mercantile wheat of eight tonnes per hectare. Investments in a total of EUR17.8 million in cattle breeding, sheep farming, reconstruction and modernization of farms, expansion of orchards in Zajecar and new machinery are ongoing. The value of exports in the first two quarters is EUR28 million.

“Danubius” plant celebrated 100 years of business with investments of EUR2.1 million in modernization of production and portfolio expansion.

“Delta Real Estate” actively works on projects in the region, while the “Crowne Plaza” hotel with more than 50,000 overnight stays in the first six months of this year recorded an average booking rate of 71.5 percent. It is ranked first in terms of employee satisfaction from all IHG hotels in Europe and third when it comes to guests’ satisfaction. Vehicle sales at “Delta Motors” increased by 5.4 percent while sale of motorcycles increased by 27 percent. The first quarter of 2018 in “Delta DMD” was marked by organizational restructuring, which resulted in EBITDA increase by 93 percent. Contracts with Diageo and Ferrero have been renewed and a contract with GSK has been signed. “Delta Transportni Sistem” records revenue growth of 17 percent.

Seven teams were accepted in “Delta Biznis Inkubator” program, which will develop their startups in the next three months using Delta’s aid and resources.

“Delta Fondacija” invested RSD50 million in socially responsible projects and donations in first six months of this year.
