German company Leoni will open its fourth factory in Serbia and the plant is planned to employ more than 4,000 people by 2021. It will be the first factory opened in Kraljevo in 30 years, 24 sata reports, referring to various news agencies.
With this factory in the works, Leoni is set to employ a grand total of 12,000 workers in Serbia, and to become the biggest foreign investor in the country.
Aleksandra Pesic, Deputy Director General of the Serbian branch of the company said that Leoni decided to open its fourth facility in Kraljevo and that negotiations with the Serbian government and representatives of the local self-government in Kraljevo are currently underway.
