The Science and Technology Park (NTP) has been opened in Nis, in which the amount of 12.5 million euros was invested, and the opening was attended by President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, and Prime Minister, Ana Brnabic. The park was opened more than ten years after the project had been completed. “A total of 20 million euros will be invested in this. We have invested a lot of money in Nis, which was lagging behind others, and now it is moving forward rapidly,” said Vucic. According to him, NTP “is the most important thing that the state has done in Nis.” He also announced that Serbia would improve the legal framework for the development of blockchain technology, which would also be developed in NTP Nis. The companies that will move into NTP, as it was pointed out at the opening, will start working in August and they will have 14,000 square meters at their disposal.
