A Serbian respirator, protective suits, a new type of masks with replaceable HEPA filters, disinfection booths in public places – these are some of the 12 solutions funded by the Innovation Fund in order to combat the effects of the coronavirus pandemic. Vladimir Vojvodic of the Innovation Fund has said in his guest appearance in the morning news program on RTS TV that solutions such as the first Serbian respirator, new types of protective masks, disinfection booths, a mobile counter for contactless temperature measurement and manual disinfection, portable ionisers would soon be developed and available for use. “We will definitely make the first Serbian respirator in a record-breaking time for this type of a device.” The goal is to complete it in the next four weeks because it is a strategically important device that will allow us to have the expertise in Serbia to make a device of this type and a device that will be of use not only in this pandemic, but in every subsequent scenario of this type, said Vojvodic.
