The Mathematical Grammar School team from Belgrade won the first place and the Grand Prix award presented to the absolute winner of the XVI International Zhautykov Olympiad in Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science held in Kazakhstan, the Mathematical Grammar School has announced. The competition was held from January 8th to January 14th, with 84 teams and more than 600 contestants from 21 countries (Russia, Kazakhstan, Romania, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Turkey, etc.). According to the statement, students of the Mathematical Grammar School won seven medals in individual competitions. Milos Milicev and Jovan Toromanovic won gold medals in mathematics, while Vukasin Mihajlovic won the silver medal. Dobrica Jovanovic won the golden medal in physics and Bogdan Rajkov won a silver medal. Two silver medals in computer science were won by Mladen Puzic and Jovan Bengin. Team leaders: Boban Marinkovic and Ivan Stanic. The Mathematical Grammar School expressed gratitude to “Telekom Srbija” for allowing their team to travel to this international competition.
