It is hard to imagine that the company that has existed for 9 years and that now occupies 3 floors of a building in Novi Beograd started doing business in only three offices.
There is a good reason why Nordeus is a big name in Serbia, both due to the company’s success and due to constant and diligent investing in its employees.
The company treats us, its guests, the same way it treats its employees.
Of course, the first impression is an incredible work space and creative offices, as well as the kindness and amiability of the people. Although the company has about 170 employees, we have the impression that they all know each other very well and they function like a family in a healthy work environment.
We were welcomed by Ivana Paunovic (Workplace Experience Manager), who is in charge of arranging workspace, food selection and motivation among the employees. All in all, we can say that Ivana “creates the experience of the employees” at the workplace.
As we were touring the company, we noticed that the places where people were working were very flexible. It must have happened to everyone: after hours of sitting in front of the computer, we start to feel back pain or simply, at some point, there is no more inspiration when a person works at one and the same desk.
Here, people can work in comfortable armchairs, in the canteen, and even on the floor. Desks, whose height is easily adjustable, (they can be quite high) are a big benefit – they are good for posture and for health.
Indeed, the best ideas are born when one can relax both the mind and the body and embrace the significance of imagination and creativity.
Even though there are many entertainment and relaxation zones, everyone we encountered was doing something, or they were at a meeting or having a conversation.
When you lack energy or creativity, all you need to do is take a walk down the halls of Nordeus and you will leave with positive impressions, and with numerous ideas. We certainly did.
