According to survey conducted by Ctrip, the biggest online travel agency in China, and Skyscanner, an internet page and a search engine for travels, Serbia ranks first when it comes to interest of Chinese tourists in new and specific destinations.
According to statement by the National Tourism Organization of Serbia, with an increase in popularity by astonishing 67.7 percent, Serbia left behind destinations such as Turkey and Portugal. As expected, a trend in popularity of destinations in Asia, such as Singapore, Tokyo and Bangkok continued in 2018 as well, when it comes to tourists’ trips from China.
This is presented in the annual statistics of Ctrip and Skyscanner for 2018, which refers to individual tourists who use their services.
