BIZLife reveals: Belgrade based companies sending employees to work from home

Several Belgrade based firms have recommended their employees to work from home today, after new cases of coronavirus patients in Serbia have been revealed, BIZLife web portal reports. Three newly infected people with coronavirus in Serbia, who have been detected in the last 24 hours, are from Belgrade, and one of them is a Chinese national employed by the company Huawei. As media report, Chinese company has ordered Belgrade employees to work from home and has emptied its offices at the Airport City Centre in Novi Beograd. Other companies working in other Airport City buildings are teaching their employees how to use servers at home, if this becomes necessary, Nova.rs reported. As BIZLife reveals, several other, mostly IT firms in Belgrade, have recommended or ordered employees to continue working from home in the following period. The reason for this is the increase in number of newly ill people, as well as numerous contacts that employees had with foreigners both in Belgrade and at numerous meetings and trips abroad. Four coronavirus patients have been officially registered in Serbia, and the Serbian government adopted emergency measures during an extraordinary session, including a ban on entry for Italian nationals and nationals of four other countries to Serbia.
