FINAL AND OFFICIAL: Corridor 10 complete (PHOTO / VIDEO)

The southern branch of Corridor 10 through the Grdelica Gorge is officially open, the last 26.3 kilometres of the „hardest section“ are resolved and now the entire Balkans is connected with Europe via the highway.
After six years of work, 36 bridges and two tunnels were built.
With fireworks and officials’ speeches, the opening ceremony was organized in the evening at Vrla Bridge near Vladicin Han, illuminated in the colours of the Serbian flag.
Speakers at the opening were Prime Minister of North Macedonia Zoran Zaev, Chairman of the Presidency of BiH, Milorad Dodik, Head of the EU Delegation to Serbia Sem Fabrizi, President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic.
The ceremony was also attended by US Ambassador Kyle Scott, Ministers of the Government of Serbia, representatives of the World Bank…
Addressing the citizens under Vrla Bridge, President Aleksandar Vucic said that the construction of that part of the highway represented „the most difficult construction endeavour in Europe“.
