Finally: Cheaper roaming, here’s how much it will cost you
The Regional Agreement on Roaming has been signed today in Belgrade, at the second Digital Summit of Countries of the Western Balkans, and it will allow lower roaming prices from this year’s July 1st.
The agreement has been signed by representatives of six countries of the Western Balkans, and the Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajic has signed it on behalf of Serbia.
In the first phase, from July 1st, roaming prices will be lower by 27 percent, and from July 1st 2021, roaming should be abolished in countries of the Western Balkans.
The agreement stipulates that prices for one minute of conversation cannot exceed RSD 22.4, the price of SMS cannot exceed RSD 7, while the maximum price for data transfer will be RSD 21.4, all excluding VAT.
The cost of roaming with Albania will be decreased by 85 percent, because so far Albania has not been part of the agreement signed by Serbia, Montenegro, the Northern Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2014.
