Fintel Energija is expanding its operations to the Russian market
Fintel Energija, one of the most important investors in renewable energy sources in Serbia, announced today the founding of the company in Russia – Fintel Russian Ventures.
The company will design and manage two renewable energy projects in the areas of Ulyanovsk and Saratovsk in the Volga Region.
The first wind farm will be built in the Novoulyanovsk industrial park and it will consist of six wind turbines with the capacity of 4.2 megawatts with a total installed power of 25.2 megawatts. EUR 32 million will be invested in the project, and the funding will be made according to international standards, it is stated in a press release of Fintel Energija.
Works on the Novoulyanovsk wind farm, which will generate 75.6 gigawatt-hours of clean energy per year, enough to meet the needs of nearly 18,000 households in Russia, will be completed by the end of 2020.
Fintel Energija has been operating for 10 years in the Balkans, and it has built and commissioned two wind farms and started building the third, also the largest, wind farm in Serbia.
