First Serbian company to publicly DISCLAIM state aid

The Univerexport Group has announced that, in the current health situation, it has decided not to take advantage of the prescribed assistance measures of the Government of Serbia in the amount of more than two million euros. As stated, such a decision was made so that the trade chain would thus show solidarity and social responsibility towards the community and all the enterprises that need state aid. „The decision was made in accordance with the fact that the situation with the Covid 19 disease did not adversely affect the operations of the Univerexport Group,“ said the business group, comprising Univerexport, Trgopromet and Backa. The Univerexport Group paid the full salaries to its employees, and a donation of more than four million dinars in food was sent to the community.
