Galenika produced CHLOROQUINE

Galenika produced the first doses of chloroquine, a drug used for the treatment of COVID-19. Chloroquine is an old drug used for malaria, but it is also one of the important drugs in treatment of COVID-19. As RTS reports, the use of that drug will commence on Tuesday and Galenika initially produced 372,000 tablets. Anyway, the substance for its production arrived in Serbia two days ago. Director of the National Health Insurance Fund, Sanja Radojevic Skodric stated with RTS earlier that there were sufficient amounts of chloroquine for all patients even before production began in Serbia, but given the continued pandemic and newly infected, the supplies of this drug are decreasing.
