In June NINE new routes of Air Serbia

As of June, Air Serbia launched direct flights to nine cities, which is the largest number of new destinations since 2013, since when the company has been operating under this name. By introducing regular flights throughout the year to Kiev, Madrid, Barcelona, Rijeka, Krasnodar, Helsinki and Cairo, as well as seasonal flights to Nice and Zadar, the national airline increases the number of its destinations by almost a fifth. The inaugural flights to Helsinki and Barcelona took place on 1 June, after which flights to the capital of Finland take place three times a week, and to the famous Spanish destination twice a week. On the following day, Air Serbia aircraft flew to as many as three new destinations, connecting Belgrade with Nice and Madrid twice a week, and Kiev three times a week. The first flight to Krasnodar took place on 3 June, after which there will be three flights per week to this city in the south of Russia. The introduction of flights to Rijeka and Cairo, to be carried out twice a week, took place on 4 June. With the last inaugural flight from Belgrade to Zadar, on 21 June, Air Serbia marked the connection with this city in Croatia, which will be on the flight schedule twice a week during the summer season. „By introducing as many as nine new routes within just one month, Air Serbia once again confirmed the position of a regional leader in commercial air transport. We are very pleased that by careful selection of destinations we significantly improved the functionality of our network, in accordance with the wishes of the passengers and the strategic plans for further expansion. The launch of new routes is a result of the many months of hard work of numerous services of the Serbian national airline company, which makes us extremely proud,“ said CEO of Air Serbia Duncan Naysmith. By connecting the Serbian capital with nine strategically chosen new destinations and expanding the international network of Air Serbia to a total of 49 destinations, the national airline provides strong support to the economy and stimulates the growth of tourism.
