In Serbia, 2,500 more healthcare workers employed in two weeks
Health Minister Zlatibor Loncar has said that more than 2,500 doctors and nurses have been employed in the past two weeks, who have previously been doing their specialization or worked for temporary periods of time. Loncar said in a statement for Prva TV that the Serbian healthcare system currently employed more than 100,000 people, who had had to quickly adapt to the new situation since the first coronavirus positive patient was registered. According to him, it was necessary to create a new organization, provide enough people, train them to work and establish a system that would produce results.
