KOREAN company searching for a location: Smederevska Palanka close to securing a job for 1,000 workers

Investors from the Korean company „Kyungshin“, one of the companies belonging to the Kyungshin Cables Group, are interested in building a plant for the production of electronic components for the automotive industry at the territory of the Municipality of Smederevska Palanka. Investors are planning to invest EUR 24 million and employ 1,000 workers, and on Wednesday they visited an industrial zone where the plant could be built and talked to the officials from municipalities Smederevska Palanka and Velika Plana, as well as representatives of the Development Agency of Serbia and the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency. With the assistance from the Serbian Development Agency, representatives of the Korean company visited several locations in Serbia, and they were in Smederevska Palanka for the second time.
