Minister on the Kopaonik facility: It will be demolished to the LAST brick

An illegal facility at Pancic’s Peak on the Kopaonik mountain range will be demolished to the last stone, as promised by the Minister of the Interior, the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic has said. When asked by reporters at what stage is the execution of the decision on demolition of that facility, since the Minister of Interior Nebojsa Stefanovic stated back in August of this year that it will certainly be demolished by the end of the year, she has said that the process is ongoing. A hospitality business of 1,000 square metres in the protected area of the National Park was built by Snezana Mitkovic from Smederevo, instead of a ski buffet for which she had approval of the Municipality Brus. After the Ministry of Construction determined that the facility is illegal, both the police department and Prosecutor’s Office in Kraljevo have been playing „hot potato“ when it comes to realization of the decision on demolition.
