Nis Airport „loses“ passengers and planes

At Nis Airport, in January and February, 12.4 percent fewer passengers and 6.3 percent fewer airplanes were recorded than in the same period last year, according to the data published on the official website of Constantine the Great Airport.

According to official statistics, in the first two months of this year, 48,872 passengers and 195 airplanes were recorded at Nis Airport, while in the first two months of 2018, the airport in Nis had 55,806 passengers and 208 airplanes.

During January and February, Nis Airport served three cargo airplanes, with a total of 49 tons of goods, and in the same months last year six airplanes with 121 tons of goods were served.

Constantine the Great Airport currently has regular air routes to ten European destinations, i.e. one fewer than at the beginning of 2018.
