Officials GOT POORER since taking OFFICE

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and every other minister in the Government owns less real estate and fewer cars than they did when they took office, reports the Danas daily based on the property cards published on the website of the Anti-Corruption Agency. The newspaper recalls that when he became Minister of Defence in 2012, Aleksandar Vucic reported to the Anti-Corruption Agency a three-bedroom apartment of 117 square meters, and the property card from last year states that he owns a 30-square-meter studio apartment. He has not owned, and he still does not own, a car or savings. Rare are those whose property cards are almost identical, including Prime Minister Ana Brnabic, Ministers Zorana Mihajlovic, Zlatibor Loncar and Slavica Djukic Dejanovic, reports the Belgrade-based daily. Those who increased the value of their property cards are Branislav Nedimovic, Nela Kuburovic, Goran Trivan, Vanja Udovicic, Goran Knezevic and Jadranka Joksimovic. National Bank of Serbia’s Governor Jorgovanka Tabakovic reported 10 years ago that she had an apartment of 144 square meters, an Opel Astra car, but the 2018 property card states that she no longer has anything, not even bank savings, reports the Danas daily.
