Road toll more expensive as of 1 July

Director of the public company Putevi Srbije, Zoran Drobnjak, said today that the government had accepted a request for a 12% increase in road toll and that the new prices would take effect from 1 July. Drobnjak told Prva TV that the new prices would be adopted after the MPs adopted the Government’s proposal and that the company Putevi Srbije would invest these additional two billion dinars in road maintenance. „We will reconstruct the bad sections, we have a plan, not only for two billion, but for 20 billion,“ Drobnjak added. Speaking about the quality of the roads, Drobnjak pointed out that on the scale from one to ten, he would give Serbian roads the score of 6.5 or 7 and that with that grade „they passed the exam“.
