RSD 72 MILLION to Red Star and Partizan from budget reserves
The Serbian government has granted allocation of RSD 72 million from budgetary reserves to the Ministry of Youth and Sports, in order to provide financial aid to basketball clubs Red Star and Partizan. The decision to approve the funds was published in the last issue of the Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia, without a concrete explanation and how much money each club would receive. Red Star competes in the Euroleague and after 21 rounds it is in 10th place with nine wins and 12 losses. Partizan competes in the Eurocup and after last night’s win over Darussafaka (69:57) and a total of three victories and one defeat, i.e. the same score as Virtus from Bologna, it sits at the top of the Group E of the Top 16 stage.
