Russian companies interested in „Petrohemija“
Serbian Minister of Finance Sinisa Mali has said today that Russian companies are interested in buying Pancevo based „Petrohemija“, but there are potential buyers from other countries as well.
He has stated with RTS that the Government is trying to find a strategic partner for „Petrohemija“ via tender.
Commenting the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Serbia, Mali has said that foreign trade between Russia and Serbia is growing year after year.
„Russia is Serbia’s fourth exporting as well as importing partner,“ the minister has said.
Mali has announced that more than 20 agreements will be signed during Putin’s visit, and one will refer to further continuation of railway modernization, as well as construction of a dispatch centre.
He has pointed out that the agreement on gas storage in Banatski Dvor will be signed as well, which implies safe gas supply for the Serbian citizens.
„A digital dialogue will be organized as well. Besides energy and infrastructural cooperation, Serbia has no reason not to extend cooperation in the IT sector as well. It will make a real breakthrough in the field of innovations,“ Mali has said.
