Serbia vs. pandemic: Number of those cured is INCREASING all sick CHILDREN are in GOOD HEALTH

Since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic up until now, more than 1,000 patients have recovered in Serbia, and around 30 children were among the infected. The most important thing is that all children are in good health. A member of the Crisis Staff for the Prevention of the Coronavirus, immunologist Srdja Jankovic said that coronavirus infection in Serbia was confirmed in around 30 children, but none of them were seriously ill. Jankovic said at the press conference of the Crisis Staff that three babies are currently hospitalized at Children’s Hospital „Dr Dragisa Misovic“, and that so far there have been a total of around 30 children who tested positive for the coronavirus. „The most important thing is that all children are well, that they have mild symptoms or they have no symptoms at all, thus our experience is in line with the global circumstances,“ he emphasized. What disturbs that beautiful picture, as he said, is that there is a very low probability that children will have a more severe clinical picture in environments where a large number of people are infected. „There are more serious diseases in the world, but yes – children are actually the most resistant to this disease, and thank God we did not have seriously ill children,“ Jankovic said. Speaking of associated diseases, so-called comorbidities, Jankovic pointed out that when one was said to have died from Covid-19, it means that he died from consequences of the disease. If someone has died from a disease that he has and is positive for the coronavirus, he is not listed as dead from Covid-19, he explained. According to the latest data, 1,025 patients were cured for Covid-19 in Serbia. This figure has been rising for several consecutive days.
