Smooth ADJUSTMENTS of pay grades until 2020

The Minister of State Administration and Local Self-Government Branko Ruzic has stated that the new pay grades will be introduced during next year, and has announced that a new cycle of talks with trade unions will follow. „We will use this year for a new cycle of talks with trade unions, as they are invited for a dialogue with the Government and juridical ministries in order to achieve smooth adjustments, necessary in order to implement the new system of pay grades,“ Ruzic has said at the 26th assembly of the Coordination Commission for Inspection Supervision. He has emphasized that the Government is responsibly approaching this issue. „We were close to implementing a new system as of January 1st this year, in which work of civil servants in public administrations would be valued in a right way,“ Minister has stated. Ruzic adds that all remains are for additional financial analyses to be completed, regarding the effect on the budget.
