State of emergency to be terminated next week?

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has announced in his guest appearance in the TV show Oko on Radio-televizija Srbije that the curfew on 1 May will run from Thursday at 6 pm until Saturday at 5 am, and that over the weekend curfew will be at the same time as during weekdays (Saturday 6 pm to Sunday at 5 am). He said he would not rule out the possibility of terminating the state of emergency at the end of next week. „It seems to me that what we have come up with makes sense,“ Vucic said, adding that it would be presented as a proposal tomorrow at the Crisis Staff meeting, and it is a proposal that suits everyone. He added that, at the insistence of Predrag Kon MD, the gathering of more than 5 people would be banned. „I asked the experts about their opinion five times; Stevanovic was the fiercest, he wanted quarantine all the time, but we did not reach consensus. We want to get a day and a half that is important to us, to have below five percent of the people who test positive.“
