Swiss build FACTORY in Svilajnac, JOBS for more than 100 workers

A cornerstone has been laid in Svilajnac for the construction of a plant of the Swiss electric lighting manufacturer Regent Lighting, worth 10 million euros, where more than 100 workers will be employed. In the first phase, a hall of 6,000 square meters will be built, and in the second phase, another facility covering the area of the same size will also be built. That company from Basel has already started production in the rented facility and it hired the first workers. Regent’s executive director Joerg Steimer said the factory in Svilajnac would employ production workers and a highly skilled workforce to support the parent company in Switzerland.
