The Chinese are opening a PLANT for production of EXPLOSIVES in Serbia

China’s biggest company in the field of production of explosive materials is coming to Serbia, the „Novosti“ daily newspaper reports. Via strategic partnership with Belgrade based company „Rudex“ it will open a state-of-the-art plant for production of industrial explosives at the former military complex near Boljevac, which served for ammunition storage. „At this moment, the name of a Chinese company that is building a state-of-the-art plant for industrial explosives is a business secret, just like the value of an investment,“ Mayor of Boljevac Nebojsa Marjanovic stipulates. „However, it is familiar that this Chinese company has plants around the world, employing hundreds of thousands of workers“, the interlocutor of the „Novosti“ daily newspaper reports. The former military complex in the vicinity of Boljevac spreads across an area of around hectares and has underground hangars for ammunition storage as well. Full infrastructural equipping and the procedure for admission of workers are currently ongoing and close to completion, and the ceremonial opening of the plant, according to Marjanovic, is expected very soon.
