The first EUR 30 after the holiday: Minister explains who will receive the MONEY and WHEN

Minister of Finance Sinisa Mali has said that from May 12, the payment of the first 30 euros will be made to all adult citizens who apply for it by then via the portal of the Treasury Administration.

Speaking on Prva TV, Mali said that pensioners would start to receive financial assistance on May 6, and that a day later payments would start to be paid to all adults who were serving prison sentences and those who were unemployed.

„The state will pay the first 30 euros to the elderly, more than 1.7 million of them, on May 6, and the second part in November. They will receive additional assistance of 50 euros in September,“ said the minister of finance.

These three categories of citizens will not have to apply for assistance, the minister recalled.

The minister said that the application by adult citizens for two payments of 30 euros each would start on April 28.

„In the third week of May, the payment of aid for our fellow citizens living in Kosovo and Metohija will begin. This is the first such aid (which is paid in Kosovo and Metohija) of 100 euros, which will also be given to children, while the unemployed will receive 200 euros. There is no need for anyone (in Kosovo and Metohija) to apply, this will be done automatically through the Office for Kosovo and Metohija,“ said Mali.
