The first foreign investment in Kursumlija
Israeli company „Wood feel“ will start furniture production in Kursumlija as of October, this being the first foreign investment in that town.
As director of that company Ran Aviao stated with the agency Beta, furniture for the global market will be produced in cooperation with the company „Simpo SIK“ which will produce oak plywood.
„We will use the latest technology in furniture production. The plan is to complete adaptation of the building of former apparel plant “7. juli”, production hall and setup machines and equipment,” director of Israeli company said.
Asserting that they already hired five workers, Ran Aviao announced that around one hundred workers will be hired in the initial period, and that a larger group of workers will soon be sent in Israel for training.
