The Government AIDS hotels and returns the SWEEPSTAKE with bills
The Serbian government has decided to financially help the hotel industry, which, as it announced, was „brought to the brink of survival“ due to its losses during the pandemic. „The program involving the schedule for the use of subsidies to support the work of the hotel industry of Serbia“ encompasses privately owned hotels in 67 municipalities and towns. They will be given subsidies in dinar countervalue of EUR 350 per individual bed and EUR 150 per room, the Government announced. The right to use these subsidies will be lost by hotel owners who reduce the number of employees by more than 10 percent from August 15th to December 31st this year. The public call for submitting applications for subsidies from September 1st to 15th will be published by the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications on the Internet (www.mtt.gov.rs). The Serbian government has decided to reorganize the annual sweepstake „Take the bill and win“, which points out to citizens the importance of suppressing the grey economy.
