The IMF is paying us a visit
Delegation of the Serbian Ministry of Finance, led by Minister Sinisa Mali, will meet with the Mission of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Belgrade tomorrow, led by James Roaf. As announced by the Ministry of Finance, the IMF Mission will reside in Belgrade until February 5th.
The Policy Coordination Instrument program that the IMF approved for Serbia in last year’s July has an advisory purpose and it does not foresee use of IMF’s financial assets and has no costs for Serbia.
It was approved for a period of 30 months and a total of five semi-annual reviews of program results are planned.
At the end of last visit of the IMF Mission to Serbia, which was from September 23rd until October 4th last year, fiscal results were praised and it was pointed out that Serbia should accelerate structural reforms.
