THE LAST contingent of Chinese vaccines arrives in Serbia
A plane with half a million doses of the vaccine from the Chinese company Sinopharm landed this morning at Belgrade’s Nikola Tesla airport, and this is the last, eighth contingent of vaccines from China, which delivered a total of 4,200,000 doses.
It was received at the airport by Prime Minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabic, and the Chinese Ambassador, Chen Bo.
Ana Brnabic thanked China and Chen Bo for another contingent of vaccines and she pointed out that Sinopharm had showed reliability that no one could have expected.
The previous contingent of Chinese vaccines, containing 266,000 doses, arrived on Saturday, when Minister of Health, Zlatibor Loncar, announced that a significant additional amount of these vaccines would arrive in a few days.
