The Port of Dubai is the only one interested in purchasing the Port of Novi Sad

Today, in the Ministry of Economy of Serbia, the only bid for the purchase of the Port of Novi Sad (Luka Novi Sad) was opened, whose initial price was about 7.99 million euros, which was submitted by the Port of Dubai based in the United Arab Emirates.

The Arabian company P&O Port based in Dubai is the only one that made an offer for the purchase of the Port of Novi Sad, the only remaining state-owned port in Serbia.

The Commission for the implementation of the procedure of the privatization of the Port of Novi Sad will assess the validity of the submitted documentation and if it complies with the tender the financial bid will also be opened.

The companies that were entitled to participate in the tender are the companies engaged in port-related activities in the last ten years in continuity, which had a revenue of at least 30 million euros in 2017, and which had the quantity of load of 1.4 million tons in each of the past three years.
