The Serbian government is helping France with a million euros for Notre Dame
The Serbian government sent a financial aid in the amount of one million euros to the Republic of France on Monday, in order to help restoration of the Notre Dame cathedral in Paris, which was severely damaged in a catastrophic fire on the night of April 15th this year.
This decision confirms a century-long friendship with the French people and expresses desire to restore the symbol of French and world civilization as soon as possible, and open doors of this temple of culture and art for all its future admirers, the Government’s Media Relations Office has announced following the meeting of Serbian government.
Media have reported these days that almost a billion dollars have been collected for restoration of the Notre Dame cathedral from ordinary believers and magnates all over the world.
