There is no one to buy Novi Sad Port
The Serbian Ministry of Economy has announced today that tender for the sale of Novi Sad Port was unsuccessful as not a single bid arrived.
99.4 percent of Novi Sad Port shares were offered for sale at an initial price of about EUR15.98 million, and deadline for submission of bids was extended two times.
Eligible purchasers were firms that had been in the port business at least ten years, with an income of at least EUR30 million in 2017 and 1.4 million tons reloaded in each of the preceding three years. Novi Sad Port is the only port in Serbia under majority ownership of state, has a reload of around one million tonnes of goods a year and its capacities exceed 2.5 million tonnes.
