Three Serbian cities VACCINATION RECORD HOLDERS – 50% of the population vaccinated
In Belgrade, Nis and Uzice, about 50 percent of citizens have been vaccinated, and the lowest number of the vaccinated is in Tutin, Novi Pazar, Zagubica, according to the data of the Office for IT and e-Government.
Director of the Office, Mihailo Jovanovic, has said as a guest on RTS TV that 3,830,000 doses of vaccines have been administered in Serbia so far, of which 2,170,000 are the first doses, and 1,000,660 are the second doses, while 1,380,000 people are fully immunized.
Jovanovic stated that there was no definition of when collective immunity was acquired. He added that the goal was to first reach 50 percent of vaccinated adult citizens, and then to vaccinate three million citizens.
He added that 500,000 second doses were administered in Belgrade, while three cities had 50 percent of the vaccinated population: Belgrade, Nis and Uzice.
He noted that Tutin, Novi Pazar, Zagubica had fewer than 20% of vaccinated citizens.
