Fiat’s SUV made in Kragujevac?

President of Fiat Automobiles Brand Global, Olivier Francois, has confirmed that the company plans to manufacture an SUV based on „Fiat Tipo“ in Kragujevac, the Blic daily reported, citing Italian media. Francois has confirmed they are working on a mid-size family crossover. „This seven-seat model is likely to be manufactured in the Serbian factory, along with renewed Fiat 500L with a new mild hybrid engine and the approved Firefly gasoline engines,“ the Italian media reported. Moreover, as it is stated, the plans of Fiat-Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) include the start of production of electric cars. The company, which has a factory in Kragujevac, could revive the Fiat brand in Europe with a series of new models.
